Cupcakes and Murals

During a recent Philadelphia delivery we noticed this awesome mural on the corner of Lombard and the Avenue of the Arts.  Isn’t it beautiful?  The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program has a nice website. Check it out!  We couldn’t find this specific one, however, they do have a search option which allows users to find murals around the city. We’re sure they’ll be a cupcake in a mural someday – if there isn’t one already!  Here’s hoping!

Back to cupcakes…

Below are photos from two of our recent deliveries.  The first photo shows chocolate cupcakes with yellow vanilla buttercream frosting and fall colored sugar crystals.  The second photo shows peanut butter cupcakes which had Oreo cookies mixed-inside and chocolate buttercream frosting.

What’s a Mix-In?

Wish-Cake prides itself on the ability our customers have to create their perfect cupcake.  Customers can do so by choosing the cake flavor, mix-in type, frosting flavor (and color, if applicable) and sprinkles!  How neat is that!  Anyway, we wanted to show you what we mean by mix-in with some of our photos.

The 2 photos below show vanilla pound cake with rainbow confetti circle sprinkles mixed-in.

4 for 2nd B-Day Party

These four cupcake varieties were ordered for a little girl’s 2nd birthday party!  They are – in no particular order - vanilla pound, vanilla pound with chocolate chips mixed-in, chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.  Check out our menu to create your perfect cupcake cake, mix-in, frosting and sprinkle combination today!  Remember: you can choose from anything on our menu (like Worm-n-Dirt or Lemon ) but you can also Build-Your-Own cupcake.

We’re flexible because we know folks like different things!

Photos of Sprinkles! (some of our sprinkles, anyway)

Yesterday we mentioned we’d try to get some photos posted of the new sprinkle variety added to the site.  We know it’s tough to envision cupcakes with sprinkles on top when there’s no photo reference!

Here are the pastel rainbow sprinkles.          
Compare them with the rainbow sprinkles below!  
The pastel rainbow are a twist on the traditional stand-by rainbow sprinkle. 
We like it – especially with spring in the future.
      

 

Above are lavender sprinkles.  (I know, guys.  They look gray.  Purple isn’t always easy to capture on the camera.  No lavender flavor in these – just the lavender color.
Below are darker purple sprinkles.  These are called “Purple” on the site.

Our next photo shows red sprinkles.

And these are pink small sphere sprinkles!

In addition to being added as sprinkles these have also been added to our mix-in list.  Check it out!
